Let’s look at some of the highlight activities of Talenten and LabBase at DevDay 2024.

Purposes of this collaboration between Talenten and LabBase

As Vietnam sets ambitious goals to be among the top five leading countries in ASEAN in AI research, development and application, the upcoming DevDay 2024 with the theme “AInovation” couldn’t come at a more crucial time.

Along with the wave of AI, Talenten collaborated with LabBase at DevDay 2024 to connect Vietnamese talents with AI/Machine Learning job opportunities in Japan. We also offer valuable insights about applying RAG in real businesses through an AI workshop.

Connect Vietnamese talents with great companies in Japan and worldwide

LabBase team aims to find the talent students demand to study, research, pursue a master’s degree, or work in Japan. Our recruiters got acquainted with participants by asking year’s students, university majors, and favorite field or programming language and introduced Labbase’s job search website to them.

When participants came to our booth, recruiters let them experience LabBase’s job search website. They can search for jobs in Japan according to their preferences. Those who find this helpful platform were encouraged to register an account, and the LabBase team will follow up via email later.

Mr. Kamo, CEO of LabBase, expressed that Vietnamese students are good in IT and very proactive in looking for job opportunities at job fair events like DevDay. They want to introduce and connect good job opportunities in Japan to Vietnamese talents and also increase the number of young human resources for companies and corporations in Japan.

At DevDay 2024, Mr. Binh Nguyen – CEO of SupremeTech, and Mr. Koichi from LabBase bring to the audience in-depth information in their AI workshop on “Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG): Leveraging the output of LLM’s responses and case studies.”

Mr. Binh Nguyen emphasized that using AI to generate an answer is easy, but generating a correct and controllable answer is complex. RAG addresses this by combining robust data retrieval processes with the generative power of LLMs. By anchoring the generated responses in reliable data, RAG helps ensure control over the output.

He also showed that RAG isn’t just a theoretical concept; it’s actively used to build practical applications. By integrating RAG, businesses can enhance customer service chatbots, streamline internal knowledge management, and develop sophisticated decision-support systems.

To enhance this idea, he provided the GooDay application developed by SupremeTech as a prime example of RAG in action. GooDay utilizes a high-level design that integrates private data with the generative capabilities of LLMs. The data flow in GooDay ensures that each query is enriched with data retrieved from a trusted source before the LLM generates a response. This process guarantees that the answers are both accurate and contextually appropriate.

Mr. Binh shared that one crucial aspect of successful RAG implementation is the quality of your data. Clean, well-structured data forms the backbone of any RAG application, ensuring that the retrieval process is efficient and the generated responses are accurate. A good process for prompt engineering can significantly enhance the performance of your RAG applications.

RAG is proving to be a game-changer in the AI landscape. By focusing on data quality and prompt engineering, you can ensure that your RAG applications deliver correct, controllable, and highly relevant answers.
